As a podiatrist, Dr Blatstein has seen all of the problems that are caused by shoes that are not fitted correctly. In his 20 years of experience of being a podiatrist, he has seen that many diabetic amputation, plantar fasciitis and general foot pain could have been prevented by the proper type shoe for the patient’s foot type. What Dr. Blatstein noted that as we age our feet become wider and bigger, and was just surprised.

The American Academy of Family Physicians reports that poorly-fitted shoes can cause a number of foot problems, not the least of which are blisters, calluses, and corns. But well-fitted shoes can help relieve these and other painful foot problems.
